It is dark in my favorite dream. Someone is following me. I do not understand why. I’m scared. Then unexpectedly I lift off. Far away. How do you feel? As if I’m swimming in the air. Free. Weightless. Nobody can reach me. Nobody can touch me. It is an excellent feeling.

I want people to remember me as a full-on entertainer and a good person. [Source:- “MTV Diary: Aaliyah”.]
It is difficult to say what I want my legacy to be when I’m long gone.[her guidance for aspiring Musicians) Keep working hard and you can get anything you want. If God gave you the talent, you should go for it. But do not believe it’s going to be easy. It is tough!
Everything is worth it. The hard work, the times when you are tired, the times where you are a bit sad . . . In the end, it’s all worthwhile because it really makes me happy. There’s nothing better than loving what you are doing.
Sexual is being in tune with your sexual self.
When I’m long gone, I wish to be remembered not just as an actress or singer, but as a full-on entertainer.[on her inspirations]: Sade. How amazing is she? I chose sade because I idolize her. I have always looked up to sade. She and I have exactly the same birthday which is January 16th so I feel like she is my soul sister. What I appreciate about Sade is that she stays true to her fashion regardless of what. She can leave us for 8 years and come back and be completely mind blowing. And you gotta respect that.
Being female, you are raised to be a good, sweet girl and not flip out. So I had to give myself permission to be mean and bad. It is demanding. But I’ve always been drawn to the darker side of things.
