Frank began acting in age seven. He graduated from Bella Vista High School in 1984. Then he attended Brown University and graduated as cum laude. He is an alumnus of Harvard Law School using a J.D., cum laude and a Master of Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. While at Harvard, Frank was a full time member of Boston’s Black Folks Theater Company, among the oldest and most acclaimed theater troupes in the united states. He additionally befriend the now President Barrack Obama when they met in the basketball court. They became good friends during their very first year as law students.
Despite having a J.D. and M.P.A., he decided to use neither and move to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.
