Recently, he was viewed as a spokesman for Partnership for Prescription Assistance(PPA). He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and finished his high school education in the Andover High School in Linthicum, Maryland. Montel was quite talented from his early days. He was a great at study, sports and music as well. After graduating high school in 1974, he was selected in U.S. Marines. He learned basic training and afterwards promoted to platoon guide at Parris Island, South Carolina. He was successful to impress his outstanding together with his leadership skills. As a consequence, he was urged to the Naval Academy preparatory school at Newport. He got picked for the school. After completing his education in the U.S. Naval Academy, he landed at Annapolis in 1976. He completed his graduation degree in general engineering from the Annapolis in the year 1980. Williams became the first African American to graduate in the Academy prep school and Annapolis.
In 1991, Williams began to host the show ‘The Montel Williams show’. He earned high degree of taste and acknowledgement through his hosting in the show. He was even given using a Daytime Emmy Award for his exceptional hosting abilities in the talk show. In 1997 he played Lt. Col. Northrop, a Nuclear Silo commander in the fictional movie The Peacekeeper. Williams played the judge presiding over Erica Kane’s (Susan Lucci) homicide trial on the ABC soap opera All My Children in 2002. In 2003 he made a guest appearance on the soap as himself to boost an episode of his own show on which several AMC stars were scheduled to appear.
